4.9 miles - moderate
A lovely ramble round the picturesque village of Dent in the Yorkshire Dales. The walk begins with a steady climb up the historic Flintergill, passing a fine limekiln, the Wishing Tree and Dancing Flags. You will then stroll along old drove roads, enjoying great views of Dentdale and the Howgill Fells before making a riverside return to the village, where you will see the Adam Sedgwick Memorial and perhaps the grave of a vampire!
