A Quaker trail to Firbank Fell with great views of the Howgills
7.5 miles - moderate or 5.25 miles - quite easy
A varied walk with spectacular views of the Howgill Fells. You will follow part of the famous Dales Way and explore the beginnings of the Quaker Movement as you stroll over the wild Firbank Fell where George Fox addressed a huge gathering. On this walk you will see Fox's Pulpit, Brigflatts Meeting House, Ingmire Hall and the lovely windows in St. Gregory's Church.
