A lovely ramble with lots of historical interest

This is a lovely ramble from Shap on the eastern edge of the Lake District with lots of historical interest. You will visit Shap Abbey, the prehistoric Googleby Stone, Rosgill, the quaint Fairy Bridge, a fine limekiln, Skellaw Hill (a Neolithic burial tumulus) and the charming little 14th century Keld Chapel.
