EASE GILL 11A - Dry waterfall, Ease Gill Kirk
The dry waterfall in Ease Gill Kirk between Casterton Fell and Leck Fell in the Yorkshire Dales National Park.
This limestone gorge was the course of Leck Beck until it disappeared underground at Cow Dubs (resurfacing at Leck Beck Head). This dry waterfall at the end of the kirk comes alive again in very wet weather as water pours over this rock face again and the limestone basin fills rapidly with surging water.
