Abandoned mine workings appear round every corner of this dramatic gorge. A haunting and highly evocative landscape where you will see the remains of Bunton Mine, Sir Francis Mine, Blakethwaite Smelt Mill and the scars of hushing: All strangely beautiful in their own right.
