Silecroft Beach
Beach top houses and a distant mirage at Silecroft in south West Cumbria.
The mirage is a naturally occurring optical phenomenon in which light rays have bent to produce a displaced image of the sky on the land. Mirages happen when the ground is very hot and the air is cool.
