A lovely walk in the Howgills to Cautley Spout, England’s highest waterfall.
6.25 miles - moderate or 4.25 miles - easy
This lovely walk to England’s highest waterfall, passes through some of the most dramatic fell scenery in the Howgills. As Cautley Spout tumbles from the dark and sinister Cautley Crags it provides a spectacular backdrop for the prehistoric Cautley Barrow and Cautley Iron Age Settlement. Can you find the hidden head?
