Head race and sluice gate, Settle

Sluice gate and head race next to the weir on the River Ribble in Settle, North Yorkshire.
The weir, sluice gate and head race were all constructed to power the waterwheel at the old Bridge End Textile Mill. Now the sluice gate and head race are once again being used for the Settle hydro-electric scheme.
