Doorway into Blackburn Cathedral

The entrance to Blackburn Cathedral.
The Tympanum abave the entance was created by Siegried Pietch, an ex German prisoner of war who stayed in the UK after the war to work on English churches. The sculpture depicts Jesus as having divine authority over the world.
