Avenue of oak trees, Levens Park
Levens Park, Levens, Cumbria.
A walker and her dog stroll through the mile-long avenue of oak trees planted by Beaumont which was originally the grand carriage drive leading to Levens Hall. When a tree dies, a new one is planted in its roots.
