Whalley Viaduct
Whalley Viaduct and the River Calder, Whalley in the Ribble Valley, Lancashire.
Built from 1846 to 1850, this amazing viaduct of red and blue bricks has 48 arches, and with a length of 620 metres, is the longest and largest railway viaduct in Lancashire.
Longridge Fell can be seen behind the viaduct.
