Clifton Hall
Clifton Hall, Clifton near Penrith in Cumbria, UK.
This 15th-century tower is all that remains of the manor house of the Wybergh family that was plundered by Jacobites in 1745. The Battle of Clifton Moor was the last battle fought on English soil.
