A wonderful walk through the secluded vale of Upper Kentmere to the Ull Stone and Kentmere Reservoir.
7 miles - quite strenuous or 5.75 miles moderate
Starting at the 16th century St. Cuthbert's Church, you will continue through this beautiful valley before making a steady climb to experience the view from the Ull Stone and then descend to the secluded Kentmere Reservoir tucked beneath the steep and craggy Kentmere fells. Don't forget to look out for the prehistoric Tongue House Settlement.
